Marcel Digital and RUSH Adopt-a-Family: A 20 Year Long Tradition of Giving Back

At Marcel Digital, giving back to our community is at the heart of what we do. Every holiday season for the past two decades, our team proudly participates in the RUSH Adopt-a-Family program, a meaningful initiative that connects us with a family in need to help make their holiday season brighter. 

Through the program, we receive a wish list from the family, detailing items that would bring them comfort and joy. A group of Marcel employees comes together to shop for these items, ensuring the family’s needs and wishes are met. Once the shopping is complete, our team gathers to wrap the presents, adding festive touches to make the experience even more special. Finally, we deliver the gifts to the program, knowing they’ll bring happiness to a family during the holiday season.

This tradition has been a meaningful part of our company culture, showcasing our commitment to giving back to the community and spreading holiday cheer.

 

About RUSH’s Adopt-a-Family Program

RUSH is dedicated to supporting the health and economic well-being of West Side neighborhoods of Chicago. Through the Adopt-a-Family (AAF) program, led by the Office of Community Health Equity and Engagement, RUSH employees and partner organizations assist families in need during the holiday season. In collaboration with nonprofits, service agencies, and churches, the program provides support to families, many of whom live below 200% of the federal poverty line or face homelessness, offering essential resources to ease their struggles during this time.
