Making a Difference with Project C.U.R.E.

As part of Marcel Digital's dedication to giving back, last week, our team volunteered at Project C.U.R.E.’s warehouse in Woodridge, IL.

Project C.U.R.E. is the world's largest distributor of donated medical equipment and supplies to underserved communities globally. Each week, the organization sends out three to five massive ocean containers filled with essential medical supplies to hospitals and clinics in resource-limited countries.

We assisted in the initial phase of sorting thousands of donated items from across the country, which included ensuring that all items progressing to the next phase of sorting and packing were within their expiration dates and correctly categorized.

Each container requires approximately 800 hours of volunteer labor to process, pack, and ship, and while our team only made a small dent in that number, the experience highlighted the vast scope of Project C.U.R.E’s mission. We were so grateful for the opportunity to contribute and gained a deep appreciation for the organization's impact. Our team is eager to continue supporting Project C.U.R.E. in the future!
